Lisa Atkinson

As the agency owner of Lisa Atkinson Insurance Agency Inc. I'd like to say "hi". My agency was established in December of 2007, prior to that I had 10 +years with State Farm in various roles. I am happy in my career choice and its a pleasure to be of service to our customers and the Skagit County community. I believe due to my tenure and personal experiences that has made me passionate about my conversations and focus on insurance by protecting those that you love and those assets that you worked hard for. My team consists of some pretty special people and I am confident in how they interact with our customers, the professionalism they provide, day in and day out.

Over the last few years, we changed our physical location to 302 Gilkey Rd in Burlington, Washington, this has been a renovation and will continue to be in the works by my husband and myself as we do in spare time. Then professionally I obtained my ChFC designation to better myself. I feel knowledge is power on many levels and because of that I encourage my team to continue to develop themselves. We often converse on what we learned, with hopes to see different perspectives or how interpreted and or how applies in real life. Learning helps the days be more fun in my opinion.

The area is rapidly growing and we feel honored to be part of the expansion! The agency is set up to serve in all capacities (online, in person, via phone, virtual, email, texting, etc.) If you do come into the office you may get a very friendly greeting from our office dog, Būdro! He is a 3 1/2 year old Weimaraner whom takes his role at the office serious and loves it, especially those regulars who stop to pet him. 1:00 pm is lunch for him and not 1:02. If you aren't a dog fan, that is okay he has his own office so won't bother you!

As a family ran business with a small hands-on team, we value relationship building and 1 on 1 support. Leaving you with an agency team and office that truly cares about you and wants to learn more about you. We all live locally too.

Fun Fact: My husband Dave is our office manager, my son Denton has his own State Farm Agency in Lake Stevens, WA and my daughter is also a business owner who just re-located back to Wa! So, you could say entrepreneurship runs in the family and I love that about us. We became grandparents recently and that has since escalated, the families are growing with expecting more babies in the fall. We will have 3 girls all that call me Li Li! Absolutely loving being grandparents, it is beyond cool! Also, we have been nominated again for Skagit's Insurance Office after a three-peat winning stretch.
